Tempus Pixel & Medical Horizons Renew Successful Collaboration with 7-Year Distribution Agreement Extension in Italy
Florence, May 2025 – Medical Horizons and Tempus are proud to announce the renewal of their successful partnership. Under a newly extended seven-year exclusive distribution agreement, Medical Horizons will remain Italy’s premier distributor of the Tempus Pixel Radiology portfolio, including Cardio, Lung, and Breast AI solutions.
This renewal marks a significant milestone in a collaboration rooted in innovation and shared values. Medical Horizons initially began working with Arterys, a pioneering radiology AI startup acquired by Tempus in October 2022, as part of the company’s drive to strengthen its imaging AI capabilities. The longstanding relationship between Medical Horizons and Arterys continued seamlessly after the acquisition, forming the foundation of this new agreement.
A Seamless Transition from Arterys to Tempus Pixel
Medical Horizons’ early collaboration with Arterys’ cardiac, lung, and breast AI tools positioned it as a trusted partner during Tempus’s integration phase. Through close cooperation with Tempus VP Chiranjiv Singh and under the strategic guidance of CEO Guido Osti and Product Manager Rolando Arpi, the company spearheaded key installations of Tempus Pixel solutions across Italy.
Today, Tempus Pixel products are at work in prestigious Italian healthcare centres:
Gruppo Multimedica, Milan
Meyer Labs, Florence
Campus Biomedico, Rome
Papa Giovanni XXIII, Bergamo
Emicenter, Neaples
These implementations leverage AI capabilities to enhance diagnostic accuracy and workflow efficiency:
Tempus Pixel Cardio provides automated cardiac MR segmentation, 4D flow quantification, chamber volumetry, tissue characterization, and myocardial strain analysis .
Tempus Pixel Lung detects, quantifies, and tracks lung nodules across CT scans, complete with automated reporting and malignancy risk stratification .
Tempus Pixel Breast enhances screening accuracy by detecting lesions in 2D/3D mammograms, assessing breast density, and enabling longitudinal comparisons .
