A Long-Term Partnership for AI in Cardiac Imaging

We’re proud to share that in 2024 Medical Horizons has signed a four-year agreement with ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII, one of the most advanced public hospitals in Italy, to support the clinical use of Tempus Pixel Cardio, an AI-powered platform that helps doctors analyze and interpret cardiac MRI exams more efficiently.

This long-term project marks another important step in our mission: helping bring artificial intelligence into everyday clinical practice, in a way that truly supports healthcare professionals and improves patient care.

Over the next four years, Medical Horizons will provide full support, from technical assistance to staff training, ensuring that Tempus is smoothly integrated into the hospital’s clinical workflow.

Tempus Pixel Cardio is a cloud-based software platform that uses artificial intelligence to support the analysis of cardiac MRI scans. It helps radiologists and cardiologists work faster and more accurately by automating key parts of the diagnostic process.

With Tempus, doctors can:

• Visualize and measure blood flow in the heart using 4D flow MRI

• Quickly assess ventricular function and heart chamber volumes

• Analyze heart tissue with advanced parametric mapping tools (T1, T2, T2*)

• Evaluate myocardial strain for a deeper understanding of heart motion
